Is it worth your time to call leads that you generate yourself?

I am always excited to learn new strategies or perceptions that are going to save me time, energy and that have the potential to take me to the next level.

I think most of us have learned the different ways we can generate leads online.  Whether it is through a system that is a monthly cost, or something you have created yourself.  The most eye-opening thing that was just revealed to me in a recent training course, is the fact that it is better to communicate with buyers (someone that has already bought a product from you), rather then someone that has filled out their contact information on a landing page.

Depending on what your giving away, or if it was a double opt-in lead, most of the time the phone numbers are incorrect.  So out of 100 leads with correct emails, less then 30 have correct phone numbers.  Then, for those you do talk with on the phone, when you ask them if they are in front of their computer, then you direct them to a website to watch a video, not to many of them watch the video and  call you back like you had asked them.

BUT.. almost all of them will watch the video and call you back if they have been a customer of yours!

That is compelling information and is something we can all profit from.  Having a sales funnel to build a relationship with your audience is crucial.  My goal has always been to learn from the best marketers so I can use that information to convey my message and purpose to others.  I am excited to learn and grow each and every day.
